Alabama Rising Country Star Sarah Stone to Headline Live Music at the 14th Annual Pike Road Patriot Fund Crawfish Boil

The Pike Road Patriot Fund is thrilled to announce that country singer-songwriter Sarah Stone will take the stage at the 14th Annual Crawfish Boil on Saturday, May 2. The community’s favorite springtime tradition returns to Century Church (1001 Marler Road) from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM for a day of food, family, and music.

Sarah Stone, a current student at Auburn University, is a rapidly rising name in the Alabama music scene. A native of the state, Stone’s sound is a masterful blend of classic country authenticity and contemporary flair. In 2024, she solidified her place as a must-watch performer after winning Kowaliga Idol 16, the premier music competition at Lake Martin.

Influenced by the legendary storytelling of Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn, and inspired by the modern edge of artists like Miranda Lambert and Ella Langley, Stone brings a performance style that resonates across generations.

“We are so excited to have a homegrown talent like Sarah Stone join us this year,” said Richard White for the Pike Road Patriot Fund. “Her deep Alabama roots and heartfelt sound are the perfect soundtrack for a day dedicated to supporting our local students.”

The annual Crawfish Boil is the primary fundraiser for the Pike Road Patriot Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to providing grants for arts and athletics at Pike Road Schools. Over the past 14 years, the event has raised more than $212,000 to fund everything from theater equipment and show choir uniforms to athletic gear and training supplies.

Event Highlights:

  • The Food: Thousands of pounds of fresh Louisiana crawfish, plus hamburgers, hot dogs, and BBQ available to purchase.
  • The Music: Live performances throughout the day, including Sarah Stone.
  • The Atmosphere: A family-friendly environment where guests are encouraged to bring their own tents and coolers.

Tickets: Available now at prpatriotfund.com. Advanced adult tickets are $60 ($85 on the day of the event), $40 for teens (13-18), and children 12 and under are free.
