C Spire Pike Road Crawfish Boil Rescheduled to May 17 Due to Weather Forecast

PIKE ROAD, Ala. — The Pike Road Patriot Fund has announced that the 13th Annual C Spire Pike Road Crawfish Boil, initially scheduled for Saturday, May 3, has been rescheduled to Saturday, May 17, due to a high chance of thunderstorms in the area.

Our top priority is always the safety and comfort of our attendees, vendors, volunteers, and performers. With the current forecast predicting significant rain and thunderstorms throughout the weekend, the decision was made to move the event two weeks later in hopes of clearer skies and a more enjoyable experience for everyone.

The event will still occur at Century Church on Marler Road from 10 AM to 6 PM and will feature the same fun, food, and festivities, including 7,000 pounds of crawfish, live music, local vendors, kids’ activities, and more.

“All of us at the Pike Road Patriot Fund—and our title sponsor, C Spire—remain committed to creating a safe, meaningful, and fun-filled day for the community,” said Richard White, board member of the Pike Road Patriot Fund. “We’ve worked hard to make this year’s boil our best yet, and while the delay is unfortunate, we’re confident that May 17 will be worth the wait.”

This event isn’t just about good food and good times—it’s about a great cause. Proceeds from the Crawfish Boil directly support Pike Road Schools’ Arts & Athletics programs, helping provide students with opportunities to grow, create, and compete.

All tickets and sponsorships will automatically transfer to the new date. We encourage attendees to spread the word, make plans to join us, and help support the students of Pike Road.
